In this Dead Sea tour from Aqaba Port our representative will meet you with a sign with your name on it out the front of your cruise ship. You will be transferred by an air-conditioned vehicle for about 2.5 hours to the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea. The salty waters are rich in a variety of minerals with medicinal properties and with it’s own micro climate, the site has developed into a health spa-like hotspot. The mineral concentration in the mud is used for therapeutic and beauty treatments. Queen Cleopatra and Sheba both were said to have known the value of the site and used it.Due to high salinity the water supports no form of life hence the name the Dead Sea and floating is very easy. Be sure to prepare to swim and relax in the mud.  Arrived at the Dead Sea you have leisure time, the chance to float on water then drive back to Aqaba port.

Important Notes & Information :

Passport Information

You are required to provide your full passport details to us when you book this shore excursion.

In order to be authorized to pick guests up from the Port Area we are required to submit a visa manifest to the Border/Port Authority. The visa manifest requires the full passport details for all guests. This manifest is stamped and authorized which allows our guides and drivers with their vehicles to gain entry to the Port Area to pick up the guests from the front of the ship.

If you do not provide us with the full passport details of all guests, you will be required to catch the public shuttle bus from the Port area to the town centre. This can take from 1 – 2 hours and can cause significant delays for your tour.

This is why we ask for your full passport details when you submit your booking form for a Shore Excursion Tour with us.

Please note that Shore Excursions need to be booked a minimum of 24 hours in advance so that we are able to get an authorized and stamped copy of the Visa Manifest form the Border/Port Authority.

Towel at the Resort

The admission fee Dead Sea Beach does not include towel. You can bring your own towel or rent one on spot for a small fee.
